Frequently Asked Questions

All practices will take place at Zion Christian Academy. They will begin on Monday following the 4th of July from 6-8 pm on M/T/Th/F. Once school starts, practices will be 3 days a week from 6-7:30 pm. Days of the week are currently pending due to middle school football scheduling. This practice schedule applies to both football and cheer.

Home games are also held at Zion Christian Academy and are on Saturdays. There is some travel required as half the games will be away at other fields. We don't expect to have to travel more than 1.5 hours from ZCA. 

All youth in Maury County between the ages of 5 and 12 are eligible to play with Maury County Eagles Athletics. Age is determined by their age as of July 31st of that year, with the exception of 12 year old football players. These players cannot turn 13 prior to December 1st. This is a rule put into place by Tri County Jr Pro and we cannot make any exceptions at this time. If you need clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us. 

Each player's registration fee goes towards their uniform, which they will keep at the end of the season; leagues fees; and insurance. 

You will receive a $30 discount on each additional child registered. 

We are currently working on figuring out a way to finance hardship scholarships. Our goal is for every child who wants to participate to be able to. Being a new organization, we have to build from the ground up, meaning purchasing equipment, insurance, etc. to ensure we have what the children need to be able to play safely. At this point, we are taking applications for coaches. We have not made any official decisions on coaches as of yet. If you would like to be a coach, please apply on the Coaching page on this website. All coaches are required to be background checked and complete safety and coach training before taking the field. 

We ask that parents remember that these coaches are all volunteers, so please be respectful to them. We hold a high standard when it comes to our coaches' conduct and are ready to address any issues that cannot be first resolved between the coach and parent/player. 

Maury County Eagles Athletics is a member of Tri County Jr Pro Football league. The league is separated into 2 divisions: North and South. We are in the south division. We will play against Centerville, East Hickman, Lewis County, Lewisburg, Perry, Mount Pleasant, and Fairview.
